It all starts with our custom hardened kernel, removing developer option debugging capabilities and removing unneeded services by creating a minimalistic build to reduce the attack surface. Our proprietary OS doesn't use any third-party services. We were one of the first companies to implement a custom encrypted camera to prevent metadata associated with it to be stored to the filesystem unencrypted, and our private keyboard eliminates any information being sent to Googles servers. USB data, Bluetooth, fused location, GPS, and near-field communications are all gone.

Our updates are secure because the devices themselves have all been updated with the latest Android security patches. The OTA updates are seamlessly pushed to your device and available when you're connected to WiFi. OTA updates are vital as there's always new vulnerabilities that need to be patched. Further, most vulnerabilities target web browsers and JavaScript - which are completely removed in Renati. If the device you're using is on an older version of Android, then the device itself is suspectable to the new puck vulnerability. This allows an attacker to put in a Sim card that is locked (not possible with Renati) and bypass your lock screen and access the OS.

Every Renati phone is assigned a unique user identifier - in our case a Username, based on a Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) token system. This UUID generates a one-of-a-kind identifier for each device upon initial activation. This approach prevents any malicious activity that could compromise the integrity of user data or expose sensitive information to unauthorized parties.

Serverless architecture doesn't exist. The cloud is just somebody else's computer. Can you have a phone without hardware?

Only our custom secure applications are included. Renati's primary productivity app, ChatMail ensures all your calls, messages, group chats, photos, and notes are encrypted. Clients install ChatMail during the setup wizard process and this ensures their username and password is the only one with access to their device. Renati also comes with our custom currency converter, calculator, and other system functions.

The Clipboard (copy and paste code functionality) can optionally be enabled as long as you understand the inherit risks associated with how clipboard data is used and the risks associated with RAM and chip off techniques. As an added security feature we have disabled the underlying ADB functionality to prevent a threat actor from attempting to execute ADB screen record or ADB screencap.

There is no way to recover the device whereabouts. You would have to request a remote wipe and need to install a new phone. We do allow you to do a wipe transfer which safeguards your investment, but all the data would self-destruct, and your phone goes back to factory settings.

When your Renati phone first turns on it's not connected to anything, but Renati's set up wizard. The phone uses a shared token to send the username and hash password that you've entered into our proprietary infrastructure through our load balancer and REST API (like a URL), that uses standard TLS encryption. We have our own custom certificate built, and don't use any third-party certificates. We integrate our TLS certificate, held inside your certificate folder, and that matches with our certificate that no one else has.

No one else can use your Renati phone. You create your password, and the device automatically authenticates every contact and message.

No. All Google Apps, Google Play, and Google services have been removed.

Unlike standard Android keyboards, ours prevents metadata from being transmitted back to Google. This is precisely why our keyboard lacks a spell check feature. Even on encrypted devices, the keyboard transmits spelling suggestions, performance metrics, and even typing history to Google's servers. Our custom solution ensures our users' data remains secure and private at all times.

It provides an extra layer of security over traditional Android devices that are not fully locked down. We've locked down each Kernel suitable to the hardware to the most secure level possible. In contrast, without a locked down Kernel, you could be exposed to the worst type of attack - a security privilege exploit, such as Pegasus that can gain entry to a device and execute a zero-day attack on the Kernel, ultimately gaining root access. Once this occurs, you're left with a severely compromised device.

Our RMDM offers improved battery life. With Dose enabled and display off, users can expect an impressive 7.4 days of battery life. As we continue to roll out more devices, we anticipate even greater battery performance.

It's not communicating with the Internet. We built a server that scrubs the internet that pulls in the latest rates, up to the hour, and then it puts that data into one of our databases. The app runs through our gateways into our microservices, and then fetches that data from our database - all running through the Secure Socket Tunnel.
